Do you want to hear a tale of woe? A story of a fabric that just wouldn't behave.

That was Lightning Shimmer. She's a bit of a bitch, to be frank.

The fabric turned up after all the sampling was done, everything ready to go, and the factory took one look and said they couldn't machine it. Just like that. It nearly didn't happen at all.

I dug my heels in. I wanted this done, and "no" wasn't an answer I was prepared to take. So I went back to our production team and told them exactly that.

And we cracked it. Lightning Shimmer came to life, and it's become one of the fabrics I'm proudest of, in Glittering Dunes Nude, Ocean Shimmer Blue, Mermaid Shimmer Jade and Flames Dance Red.

And now, Strike White.

This one is something else. White, silver, gold. Fluid, reflective, a little bit impossible. It might be my favourite yet.
